Chocolicious Eyes by Bobbi Brown

I love the intensity that smokey makeup gives to the eyes but sometimes black liners and shadows are too strong to use in the morning especially for a day in the office. Not to mention the panda eyes that I always end up with towards the end of the day if i have attempted a smokey makeup in the morning!

So what I was after was pretty straight forward. A product that would create a strong yet subtle effect, that would be easy to apply without having to mix and match many different shades and colours (I’m not that efficient first thing in the morning, I don’t know about you!)  and that would also stay in place all day without smudging under the eyes.  I had originally started looking for an eye shadow but after visiting a Bobbi Brown stand and speaking to one of their make up experts, I was introduced to this little babe:

Chocolate Shimmer Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner

First I fell in love with its warm shiny colour but was a bit concerned on whether I’d be able to apply it nicely. I bought the Smokey Eyeliner Brush with it which really makes its application a child’s play!

I have tried it a few times so far and it hasn’t let me down! It has staid neatly in place all day long without having to reapply it or make any corrections later in the day.

So this is me without any make up on

And that’s me after using the Chocolate Shimmer Eyeliner

As you can see it has given considerable depth to my gaze 🙂 I only have small eyes so I’m sure the effect will be even stronger on bigger eyes!

To complete the make up I used these two products for my lips:

They are two of my favourite lip products, No 6 Bobbi Brown Lip Colour and Max Factor’s Luxurious Berry Colour Elixir Gloss.

Next one on the wish list to complete the look is the new Bobbi Brown Scotch on the Rocks Limited Edition Eye Palette!

Well it’s my birthday tomorrow… Just saying 😉
